An Obeya is a "big room" where strategy comes to life.

It began as a physical space in Lean practices, and today physical and digital rooms blend together.

In the Obeya, goals, progress, and challenges are made visible so leaders and teams can align, share insights, and act quickly.

This clarity speeds up decisions and helps strategy turn into results.

More than a room, the Obeya is a way of working.

It builds trust, focus, and collaboration

It connects leaders with teams in real time.

Everyone sees the bigger picture, moves in the same direction, and contributes to shared success.

What is the Scrum methodology?

The Scrum Agile method makes teams more efficient while optimizing product development. It promotes collaborative work and constant adaptation. This method is popular in Agile project management as all actions and decisions are aimed at improving the product while remaining flexible in order to constantly meet the changing needs of the market. The Scrum methodology has 5 key characteristics:

  1. Collecting user feedback
  2. Setting tasks to be done
  3. Planning the different tasks
  4. A development team that realizes the fixed tasks while consulting with each other regularly
  5. The delivery of the product

To guarantee its application, this method requires 3 roles:

  • The Product Owner
  • The Scrum Master
  • A development team

The Product Owner‘s role is to collect and transmit user feedback. They are the bridge between the customer and the development team. The development team’s mission is to transform the needs into features. The Scrum master is in charge of the workload management and ensures the efficiency of the team by using the Scrum method.

Why is a Scrum used?

The Scrum methodology is very robust for project management. It promotes communication among a team and continuous improvement. A Scrum also allows teams to stay close to the users and to address their needs, which enables constant optimization of the final product.

Who uses a Scrum?

The Scrum methodology is widely used by teams and companies that mainly use Agile as a working method. Teams looking to implement a continuous, optimized, efficient improvement approach to their product development find themselves using this method mainly during project management.

Pro Tips on how to set up a Scrum

Regular feedback is the best way to optimize both team work and the product in the fastest way possible. Do not hesitate to do it regularly within the development team as well as at the end of each sprint before presenting new features. The Scrum master must also pay attention to external elements in order to avoid disrupting the objectives defined.
