Purpose of the Privacy Policy

This document (hereinafter the “Privacy Policy”) describes the manner in which iObeya, a French “société par actions simplifiée”, registered with the Trade and Companies Register of Evry under number 483 404 570, whose registered office is at 1 rue Galvani, Bâtiment D, 91300 MASSY, France, processes the data collected during the visit of its website www.iobeya.com, and specifically the personal data, of its customers and prospects, in compliance with French and European regulations (hereinafter the “Data Protection Regulations”), especially the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (also called the “GDPR”) and the French law no. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 relating to information technology, files and freedoms, amended by the French law no. 2018-493 of June 20, 2018 (the “French Data Protection Act”). In the context of the activity of our website, we process the Data, within the meaning of the Data Protection Regulations, of natural persons (the staff of our customers and prospects; service providers, subcontractors, occasional contributors – or their staff – of our customers and prospects).

In the context of our relations with our customers and prospects, we undertake data processing for the following purposes:

  1. Answer to your questions and demonstration requests via the “Contact us” section
  2. Management of our customers and prospects
  3. Implementation of prospecting activities by telephone or electronic means

 

The legal basis for this processing is your consent or the execution of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Types of Data

The Data processed for these purposes is relating to the identity and contact details of the data subjects (full name, e-mail address, telephone number). In order to improve our services, we also collect user login data (IP addresses, pages viewed, time of connection, type of web browser used).

Mandatory nature of the form

In order to respond to your request for information, all fields of the form must be completed, and you must check the box for consent to the processing of your Data. Otherwise, we will not be able to answer your request.

Recipients of the Data

The Data is intended for iObeya’s internal use. They are not passed on to third parties, with the exception of iObeya’s subcontractors.

Storage period

The period during which data subjects’ Data is stored varies according to the purposes for which it is processed.

  • The data collected via the form is kept for a period of 3 years from the last contact with the person concerned.
  • Login data is only stored for a period of 24 months.

Exercising the rights of data subjects

In accordance with the Data Protection Regulations, data subjects whose Data we process have:

  • a right to withdraw their consent at any time;
  • a right of access to their Data;
  • a right to rectify or erase their Data;
  • a right to restrict the processing of their Data;
  • a right to object to the processing of their Data;
  • a right to the portability of their Data.

You can exercise your rights by writing to iObeya, 1 rue Galvani, Bâtiment D, 91300 MASSY, indicating your full name, e-mail address, and postal address, and attaching a copy of a valid ID.

These rights may be exercised after the death of the data subject by any person they have designated or by their heirs under the conditions provided by the Data Protection Regulations, including Articles 84 and 85 of the French Data Protection Act.

You have the right to file a claim with the French data protection authority (Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés) located at 3 Place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris (www.cnil.fr).
